Margaret (Peggy) Gold is the director of the Library. She started working at Moore County Public Library, July of 1995. She then became the Director in August of 2003. She is very active in the community working as the President of Moore Care, a non-profit organization that provides school supplies to low income families. She is also the co-founder of Santa Stocking Stuffers, an "Angel Tree" program, which provides gifts and food to the needy families of Moore County. She and her husband of 34 years have four daughters, three sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. 

                        
                                                                


                                                                   
Mandie came to the library in July of 2006. She is a native of Moore County. She attends Middle Tennessee State University and is in the process of getting a degree in Elementary Education. At the library she is the Librarian Assistant, cataloger and maintains the database.
